Library Pod (Library Pods) Capacity: 2

Description

The library now has an acoustic pod for people who require a space for quiet conversation, whether in person or online. This space is suitable for attending online meetings, interviews or training. It can also be used for in person meetings, consultations or interviews. The pod contains two seats, a small table, charging points, adjustable lighting and ventilation. You must bring your own devices. 

The space is suitable for a maximum of two people only. Final year Students, Postgrads, Researchers and Staff are the intended users of this space and will be prioritised. 

No Food or Drink allowed inside in the pod. Anyone in breach of this rule will have their booking cancelled. 

Groups wishing to book a workspace in the LRC can book the Group Study desks on the middle floor.

The pod is located on the ground floor of the LRC beside the PCs. 

This space is not wheelchair accessible. 

This space must be booked before use. Bookings can only be made through the booking form and not at the library desk. Bookings are for one hour at a time.

The pod is bookable Monday - Friday 9am - 9pm, Saturday 10am - 4pm

Please note that the pod is not fully soundproofed.
